The 4-Hour Trader: Automating Your Alpha

Written by One Owl Team

The Efficiency Trap

Being busy is often a form of laziness—lazy thinking and indiscriminate action. You can spend 12 hours a day refreshing Polymarket, or you can spend 15 minutes acting on high-quality signals.

The Tech Stack

  • Discovery: Don't browse. Filter. Use One Owl to filter for high-volume, high-variance markets.
  • Monitoring: Set price alerts. "Ping me if Trump YES < 40¢." If the alert doesn't fire, you don't look.
  • Execution: Use limit orders. Set your buy price and walk away. Let the market come to you.

Batching Your Analysis

I check the markets twice a day: 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. I review my tracked wallets (via One Owl notifications), check my open orders, and adjust. That's it. The rest of the day is for living, learning, or creating.
